Privacy
How we handle information you send us.
This page covers webwolf.com and the Web Operations Assessment. It describes what the site actually collects, not what a template says a site might collect.
Not yet reviewed — do not publish as-is
The sections marked [CONFIRM] below state facts about WebWolf's legal entity, retention periods, processors and jurisdiction that must be supplied and reviewed by counsel. Everything not marked [CONFIRM] is an accurate description of what this site's code does today.
Who we are
[CONFIRM] — legal entity name, registered address, and the contact address for privacy enquiries. WebWolf operates this site and the Web Operations practice described on it.
What we collect
Information you give us
The Web Operations Assessment form collects only the fields it displays:
- Company name
- Website domain
- Your name
- Work email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Primary home-improvement category
- Primary market / service area
- Approximate monthly inbound inquiries, as a range
- Which CRM your sales pipeline uses
- Which operating conditions apply to you today
- Anything else you choose to tell us in the free-text field
We ask for business information about your company, not personal information about consumers. Your name, work email and — if you give it — phone number are the fields that identify an individual.
The form also carries one hidden anti-spam field. It is never shown to you, is excluded from the tab order, and its value is discarded before anything is sent.
Information collected automatically
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Nothing you type into the Assessment form is stored in your browser.
The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files directly from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which discloses your IP address and user agent to Google. [CONFIRM] — if the site must serve visitors in the EU or UK without prior consent, self-host the font files instead; this single dependency is the site's only third-party request.
[CONFIRM] — standard web server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) are typically retained by the host. Confirm the hosting provider and its log retention period.
How we use it
- To assess whether WebWolf can materially help your business, and to reply to you.
- To prepare and deliver the Assessment if we proceed.
We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a marketing sequence or newsletter as a result of submitting the Assessment form. A person replies to the address you gave us.
Who else sees it
[CONFIRM] — name the processors that will handle submissions once the form endpoint is live: the form handler or backend service, the email provider used to reply, and any CRM WebWolf uses internally to track prospects. Each is a data processor and should be listed by name.
How long we keep it
[CONFIRM] — set a retention period for Assessment submissions that do not become clients, and a separate period for client records. State both here.
Client data under a Managed Market engagement
This policy covers information submitted through this website. It does not govern data processed under a signed Web Operations engagement — where WebWolf connects to a client's CRM, analytics and call tracking, that processing is governed by the engagement agreement and any data processing addendum between the parties.
[CONFIRM] — whether a DPA exists and how a client obtains it.
Your rights
[CONFIRM] — the rights described here depend on where WebWolf operates and where its prospects are located. Confirm which regimes apply (for example US state privacy laws, UK GDPR, EU GDPR) before making commitments, then state the specific rights available and how to exercise them.
Regardless of regime, you can ask us to delete what you submitted through this form by writing to the contact address above.
Security
[CONFIRM] — describe the actual measures in place once hosting and the form endpoint are chosen. Do not claim encryption, access controls or certifications that are not implemented.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update the date below. [CONFIRM] — decide whether prior submitters are notified of changes.
